Planting the Seeds of Tomorrow: The FEU-EDC Arboretum

October 4, 2024 – Far Eastern University (FEU) and Energy Development Corporation (EDC) proudly inaugurated the FEU-EDC Arboretum through a ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Agreement, a significant milestone in their joint commitment to environmental sustainability and biodiversity conservation. The FEU-EDC Arboretum is a testament to the collaborative efforts of FEU and EDC to foster a greener future. This arboretum will serve as a sanctuary for various native tree species, contributing to the preservation of the Philippines’ rich biodiversity. It also aims to educate the community about the importance of environmental conservation and sustainable practices. Engaging students and the local community in projects like this is crucial as it fosters a sense of responsibility and connection to our natural environment.

The ceremonial MOU signing was graced by esteemed leaders from both institutions, including:
