Career Fair 2025: Empowering Futures at FEU Cavite
FEU Cavite, in collaboration with the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Silang, proudly hosted the Career Fair 2025 on May 8 and 9, 2025, at the FEU Cavite Higher Education Department. This two-day event was designed to provide students and job seekers with valuable insights, networking opportunities, and direct access to potential employers and government services.

Present during the Opening Ceremonies are FEU Cavite Officials—Dr. Myrna P. Quinto, Executive Director; Dr. Ildefonso Fulgar III, College Dean; Dr. Matthew M. Nepomuceno, External Affairs Officer, & Ms. Mitch Anne Dizon, Senior Marketing Specialist—as well officers from PESO Silang—Ms. Teresa Eusebio, PESO Manager & Ms. Janine Medina, PESO Coordinator.
The first day was an exclusive event meant to provide meaningful information sessions to the graduating college students of SY 2024-2025. The first session of Day 1 featured Ms. Anne Marie Faye Gloria, Senior Labor and Employment Officer at the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) in Cavite, Philippines. Ms. Gloria shared her expertise on labor market trends, employment opportunities, and essential skills for job seekers. Her session was both informative and inspiring, setting the tone for the rest of the event.
Following Ms. Gloria’s session, Mr. John Hayag, HR Generalist at iQor, took the stage. Mr. Hayag provided attendees with a comprehensive overview of the recruitment process, tips for successful job applications, and insights into the corporate culture at iQor. His practical advice was highly appreciated by the audience.
Meanwhile, the afternoon session, entitled KwenTAMbayan: Career Forum with the Alumni, was the highlight of the day. This forum featured four distinguished alumni from FEU Cavite, including:
- Ms. Samantha Herrera, MBA (BSBA Marketing Management, Batch 2017)
- Ms. Charlene Ilustrisimo (BSBA Marketing Management, Batch 2014)
- Ms. Kristelle Lejos, RPM (BS Psychology, Batch 2018)
- Mr. Cedrick Palatino, CPA (BS Accountancy, Batch 2017)
These alumni shared their career journeys, challenges, and successes, providing current students with valuable insights and motivation. Their stories underscored the importance of perseverance, continuous learning, and networking in achieving career goals. They also highlighted how FEU Cavite contributed significantly in establishing their present careers.

Day 2 of the Career Fair was open to the public, which aims to provide assistance to individuals who are seeking for employment or searching for improvements and/or promotions in their respective fields. The event featured 21 companies* from various industries, offering a wide range of job opportunities. Additionally, one-stop-shop government agencies, including (1) Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), (2) Social Security System (SSS), (3) PAGIBIG, (4) Philhealth, (5) Philippine Statistics Authority/ Municipal Civil Registrar, and (6) National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), were present to assist attendees with essential services and information that are necessary most especially to first-time job seekers.
The Career Fair 2025 at FEU Cavite was a resounding success, providing attendees with the tools and connections needed to advance their careers. The event highlighted the commitment of FEU Cavite and PESO Silang to empowering individuals and fostering a thriving job market in the region.
