Double Gold for FEU Cavite in Batam, Indonesia!

FEU Cavite proudly celebrates a remarkable victory at the Festival Symphony Pastry (4.0) & Cuisine, held at Grand Batam Mall, Batam, Indonesia. This prestigious international culinary competition, organized by the Batam Tourism Polytechnic, brought together talented student chefs from across the region—and our very own Hospitality Management students shone the brightest.

Ma. Kristine Principe, a 4th Year BS Hospitality Management student, impressed the judges with her exceptional skills and creativity in the Classic Indonesian Starter category. Her dish not only earned her the Gold Medal Award, but she was also named Best of the Best, a testament to her mastery of flavor, presentation, and technique.

Joining her in this golden triumph is Shamel Anne Margaret Ferma, an incoming 2nd Year BS Hospitality Management student. Competing in the Hot Pasta category, Shamel impressed the panel with her culinary finesse, securing both the Gold Medal Award and the coveted Best of the Best title.

This double gold achievement would not have been possible without the expert guidance and mentorship of the FEU Cavite culinary team, led by Ms. Pamela Michelle Rivera (College Chair) and Ms. Marguerite Ampa (Faculty Member). Their dedication to nurturing talent and fostering excellence continues to elevate FEU Cavite’s reputation in the international culinary scene.

These victories not only highlight the exceptional talent and hard work of our students but also reinforce FEU Cavite’s commitment to immersing its learners to international learning opportunities, which will be valuable in developing world-class professionals.
