FEU Cavite HED Student Leaders Shine as Champions at AFSL Leadership Conference 2026

The FEU Cavite Higher Education Department (HED) Student Council proudly represented the institution at the Asian Federation of Student Leaders (AFSL) Leadership Conference 2026, held on March 23, 2026, at Southville International School and Colleges.

Guided by the theme “Ethical Leadership in Action: Empowering Youth in Schools and Communities,” the conference emphasized the crucial role of youth in addressing societal challenges through integrity, accountability, and ethical decision-making. Participants engaged in value-driven, action-oriented learning experiences anchored on the design thinking process—equipping them to translate leadership principles into concrete initiatives that promote transparency, good governance, and positive social impact.

A major highlight of the conference was the “Transforming Ideas into Action: Project Presentations and Ethical Leadership Feedback,” where student leaders presented project proposals developed throughout the conference. These proposals were evaluated by AFSL facilitators and organizers, who offered constructive feedback to further refine the initiatives in preparation for real-world implementation.

The FEU Cavite delegation was awarded Champion in the Project Presentations, recognizing the team’s outstanding concept, strong relevance, and high potential impact in promoting ethical leadership among students and within school communities. The award was formally conferred by the Asian Federation of Student Leaders during the AFSL Leadership Conference 2026.

The team is composed of Mr. Kurt Andrei L. Agnes (4th Year, BA Political Science), Ms. Ma. Kyneshi Belle F. Barba (3rd Year, BSBA), Mr. Ferrie Agustine R. Blanza (3rd Year, BSIT), Ms. Zaika C. Asiman (3rd Year, BS Accountancy), Ms. Ghesandra Perlas (4th Year, BSIT), Ms. Jamaica Martine Fernandez (2nd Year, BS Medical Technology), and Mr. Jan Guiller E. Resano (2nd Year, BS Nursing). The team was guided by Mr. Archie Arranguez, Student Affairs Coordinator.

This remarkable achievement reflects FEU Cavite’s commitment to nurturing principled, socially responsible, and action-oriented student leaders. Congratulations to our champions for bringing honor and pride to the Tamaraw community! 💚💛
