FEU Cavite sends 2nd Batch of Internationalization Program delegates to Indonesia

As part of its commitment to further broaden student mobility and provide global learning opportunities, FEU Cavite sends 12 Junior and Senior High School Students and 2 Teachers from the Basic Education Department to Sekolah Pelita Utama in Batam, Indonesia. This exciting initiative spearheaded by the FEU Cavite External Affairs Office takes place on February 16 to 22, 2025. The said internationalization program aims to promote cross-cultural understanding and global citizenship, enhance students’ academic and personal growth through international exposure, and build lasting relationships between FEU Cavite and Sekolah Pelita Utama.
A total of 1 Junior High School and 11 Senior High School students from the Basic Education Department, along with 2 dedicated teacher companions, Ms. Cristine Baluyot-Buladas and Mr. Jergbi Jerson Inocencio will be representing FEU Cavite. The participants are:

The Internationalization Program is designed to provide students with a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in a different cultural and educational environment. Key activities include:
- Cultural Exchange:Students will participate in various cultural activities, allowing them to experience and appreciate Indonesian traditions and customs.
- Academic Collaboration:Collaborative projects and classroom interactions with students from Sekolah Pelita Utama will enhance academic learning and foster international friendships.
- Educational Tours:Visits to local historical sites and educational institutions will provide insights into Indonesia’s rich heritage and educational system.
- Workshops and Seminars:Interactive sessions on global issues, leadership, and personal development will be conducted to broaden students’ perspectives.
The 1st Batch of students and teachers went to SPU Batam on March 12 to 18, 2023. This internationalization program is a testament to FEU Cavite’s commitment to providing holistic education and preparing students for a globalized world.
