FEU Cavite recognized during IZN Awards 2024
FEU Cavite is among the colleges and universities in the CALABARZON region (Region 4A) that were recognized during the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Region 4A’s IZN Awards 2024 which was held on December 18, 2024 at Lyceum of the Philippines University, Cavite. This event celebrated the outstanding efforts of higher education institutions (HEIs) in the CALABARZON region towards fostering international collaboration and global engagement. The IZN Awards aim to honor HEIs that have made significant strides in internationalization, enhancing the global presence of Philippine education. This year’s ceremony highlighted achievements in various categories, including Research and Innovation, Academic Delivery and Instruction, Community Extension, and Resource Generation.
FEU Cavite received two citations, one for its internationalization activities during SY 2023-2024 and another due to its ranking in the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI). FEU Cavite secured the 78th spot in the Student Support and Engagement category. This achievement underscores FEU Cavite’s dedication to providing robust support systems and engaging opportunities for its students, fostering an environment where they can thrive both academically and personally. The institution’s commitment to global engagement was recognized through its innovative partnerships and programs designed to prepare students and staff for a globally competitive environment
The awards were proudly accepted by Dr. Myrna P. Quinto, Executive Director, and Dr. Ildefonso R. Fulgar III, College Dean. Their leadership and vision have been instrumental in driving FEU Cavite’s internationalization initiatives and achieving these significant milestones.
