FEU Cavite seals partnership with CSI Edune

On March 19, 2025, FEU Cavite and CSI EDUNE formalized their partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the CSI EDUNE Office located at Tektite East Tower, Ortigas Center, Pasig City. This collaboration aims to enhance educational opportunities and foster mutual growth between the two institutions.

Representing FEU Cavite were Dr. Myrna P. Quinto (Executive Director), Dr. Matthew M. Nepomuceno (External Affairs Officer) Ms. Sarah Soriano (Finance Officer), and Ms. Charlene Ilustrisimo (Executive Secretary). From CSI EDUNE, Mr. Joo Jin Woo (President and CEO),  Ms. Maureen P. Romasanta (Academic Head), and Ms. Shaine Gucana (Operations Manager) were present to witness and participate in the signing ceremony.

The MOU outlines various initiatives designed to enrich the academic experience and broaden the horizons of students and faculty members alike. Both parties expressed their enthusiasm and commitment to working together towards achieving these goals.

Dr. Quinto emphasized the importance of this partnership in providing FEU Cavite students with access to global educational resources and opportunities. Mr. Joo Jin Woo echoed this sentiment, highlighting the potential for innovative collaborations that will benefit both institutions.

Moreover, during the meeting, officials of FEU Cavite and CSI EDUNE discussed about the immersion program that both schools hope to implement on July or August 2025. CSI EDUNE is keen on sending Korean students to conduct immersion program as well as intensive English language classes with the FEU Cavite Basic Education Program. Similar with previous inbound internationalization activities, FEU Cavite will assign student buddies for each Korean student that will be deployed at FEU Cavite. The said “student buddy” system is beneficial for both the FEU Cavite students as well as with the Korean students because both parties will be able to experience authentic learning experiences that will further expand academic and cultural knowledge and competence.
