FEU Cavite sends 1st Batch of Internationalization Program delegates to Japan

As part of its commitment to further broaden student mobility and provide global learning opportunities, FEU Cavite sends 4 Senior High School Students and 1 Teacher from the Basic Education Department to its partner institution, Aoike Academy located in Fukui, Japan. This exciting initiative spearheaded by the FEU Cavite External Affairs Office takes place on March 23 to 28, 2025. The said internationalization program aims to promote cross-cultural understanding and global citizenship, enhance students’ academic and personal growth through international exposure, and build lasting relationships between FEU Cavite and Aoike Academy.

The participants are:

  • Frank Vince Gana (Grade 12)
  • Louie John Hilario (Grade 12)
  • Nash Ocenar (Grade 12)
  • Louise Erikah Santos (Grade 12)
  • Ms Christine Jay Biangco (Teacher Companion)

The Internationalization Program is designed to provide students with a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in a different cultural and educational environment. Key activities include:

  • Cultural Exchange: Students will participate in various cultural activities, allowing them to experience and appreciate Japanese traditions and customs.
  • Educational Tours: Visits to local historical sites and educational institutions will provide insights into Japan’s rich heritage and educational system.
  • Workshops and Seminars: Interactive sessions on global issues, leadership, and personal development will be conducted to broaden students’ perspectives.

This group is the 1st Batch of participants that were sent to Japan. In June 2024, Dr. Matthew M. Nepomuceno (External Affairs Officer) went to Japan to develop this program with Mr. Hiroki Aoike, Mr. Takuma Hara, and the rest of the Aoike Academy Team.
