FEU Cavite Student Leaders participate in 2024 Youth Forum
(April 19, 2024)—Student leaders from FEU Cavite Higher Education and Basic Education Departments participated in a 3-day Interactive Youth Forum organized by PAPSAS Philippine Association of Practitioners of Student Affairs and Services held at Crown Legacy Hotel, Baguio City from April 17 to 19, 2024. Participation in the said event is vital for nurturing sustainable student engagement and advancing effective stewardship under the guidance of student leaders and SAS practitioners.
The FEU Cavite delegates are composed of three student leaders from College, namely: Mackenzie Longo (3rd Year, BS Psychology, President), Chasity Mae Ronan (3rd Year, BS Psychology, Secretary), and Jurgen Daniel Nunez (3rd year, BSBA Financial Management, Treasurer) and two students leaders from Basic Education namely: Frank Vince L. Gana (Grade 11 HUMSS, SC Vice President Internal) and Anna Veronica M. Angon (Grade 12 STEM, SC Secretary). They are guided by Mr. Reynald Alfred Sy (Department Chair of Teacher Education and Lifelong Learning and NSTP Program Coordinator) and Ms. Jinna Rendaje (SHS Grade Level Officer)
The 15th IYF, themed “Systems and Anticipatory Thinking for Sustainable Student Activities and Stewardship,” features interactive workshops, thought-provoking discussions, and collaborative activities aimed at enhancing the capabilities of student leaders in conceptualizing sustainable initiatives for both their schools and communities.
