MISSION

The library as the resource center is an indispensable educational and cultural repository that contributes to the development of intellectuals by supporting the teaching, learning, and research needs of the community.

OBJECTIVES

1. To fully support the FEU Cavite community’s instructional and co-curricular programs;

2. To provide various books and other audio-visual materials to the FEU Cavite community;

3. To provide facilities and technologies to make it conducive to learning and research skills;

4. To offer library instructional program to users in promoting its services in the pursuit of lifelong learning to the FEU Cavite community;

5. To develop competitive staff to be able to serve users in the library towards the attainment of lifelong learning.

SERVICES OFFERED

Circulation Services
FEU Cavite registered users may now visit their library and borrow books. Students may borrow two books at a time with a loan period of two weeks. Faculty members may borrow books for a period of one month. All borrowed books may be renewed subject to their availability.
Electronic Document Delivery Service
This service provides registered users with access to book chapters, full-text journal articles, and other resources being held or not held by the library. Requests may be sent by email at library@feucavite.edu.ph.
Information Literacy Program
This is a series of library instruction classes that consists of instructional programs designed to teach library users how to locate and find the information they need, evaluate resources, and foster critical thinking skills. This includes library orientation held at the beginning of the academic year and lesson plans for Basic Education.
Remote Access to Electronic Resources
Electronic databases such as EBSCOhost and World Book Online can be accessed by registered users off campus. A specific username and password are required to be able to access. Send an email to library@feucavite.edu.ph to request login details.
Ask-A-Librarian
This service includes instant messaging with the librarian to ask questions and queries related to library services.

FEU Cavite has subscribed to the following databases to access remotely. To access these databases, complete the online form and submit.

World Book Online is an engaging, verified, and trustworthy digital resource for students from Pre-K to high school.

EBSCOhost Databases offers a variety of proprietary full-text and popular databases from leading information providers.
