A Special Study Permit (SSP) is issued to a foreign national below the age of 18 and/or taking non-degree courses in the Philippines (less than 1 year)
An SSP is a PERMIT, not a visa. It is issued under the Temporary Visitor’s Visa of a foreign national. A visa allows foreign nationals to STAY in the Philippines while the SSP allows them to STUDY in the Philippines.
International or Foreign Students are students enrolled in the school who belong and owe allegiance and citizenship to a country other than the Philippines. They are students whose records of birth are certified by another country.
Thus, submission of a copy of the PSA Birth Certificate is required to be tagged as a local student (whether as a dual or Filipino citizen).

Special Study Permit
1. Accomplished General Application Form in (two) 2 copies

Important:
Do not leave any information blank, especially the following:
– Applicant’s Travel information
– Applicant’s Personal information
– Guardian Information
– ACR I-card
If the applicant is a minor (below 18 years old), it shall be signed by the parent or the legal guardian.
2. BI Clearance Certificate
3. Original Passport with Photocopy (front and back)
4. I-Card (photocopy only)
5. Two (2) 2 x 2 picture. It must be taken within the last 3 months, formal, and on white background. Selfie shots will not be accepted.
NOTE: All documents must be on 8.5 x 13 inches of paper (long size) and enclosed in 1 long white folder
Payment of Fees
Fees must be paid to FEU Cavite Cashier only. Please present the Official Receipt to the Registrar’s Office.
STUDENTS with a valid visa and do not need an i-card:

Students with 9G Status and Retirement Visa are exempted from SSP Application but still need to submit a photocopy of their passport and i-card for verification at the Registrar’s Office BED/ SHS from November 3 to 30, 2022.
