Braving Excellence: FEU Cavite launches Institutional INSET in preparation for SY 2025-2026

June 23, 2025- FEU Cavite formally opened its 2025 Institutional In-Service Training (INSET), also known as the Professional Excellence Program (PEP), with an inspiring and timely focus on resilience. With the theme “Building Resilient and Efficient Work Cultures,” this initiative aims to empower faculty and staff with the competencies and mindset necessary to thrive in today’s rapidly evolving academic landscape.
The three-day program gathered the entire FEU Cavite academic community in a half-day session designed to strengthen both personal and professional resilience. Day 1, which was held at the HED library, featured three esteemed speakers who shared diverse perspectives on student-centered learning and positive psychology in the classroom and in the work environment, namely: Dr. Hector Perez, first member of the Professional Regulatory Board of Psychology; Dr. Diana G. Topacio, Chief of the Schools Governance Operations Division of DepEd Cavite; and Dr. Joseph Jintalan, Senior Director of the Academic Standards Office of FEU Manila.
The Professional Excellence Program is a strategic initiative aligned with FEU Cavite’s ongoing commitment to institutional growth and educational excellence. More than just technical upskilling, PEP is designed to cultivate a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and professional empowerment.
As FEU Cavite continues to rise as a model of academic innovation and integrity, programs like PEP ensure that its educators and support staff are not only equipped with up-to-date competencies, but also with the mindset, values, and resilience to lead effectively through change.
