FEU Cavite celebrates 16th Founding Anniversary

Silang, Cavite – FEU Cavite proudly celebrates its 16th Founding Anniversary, marking over a decade and a half of academic excellence, innovation, and community engagement. Since its establishment in 2009, FEU Cavite has grown into a beacon of quality education in the region, fostering a nurturing environment for students from preschool to higher education.

The 16th founding anniversary celebrations, themed “Braving Excellence,” officially opened on February 10, 2025, with a vibrant motorcade that saw enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, parents, and alumni. The motorcade was followed by an opening program that highlighted impressive student performances, showcasing the diverse talents within the FEU Cavite community.

On February 13, 2025, a concert that featured Sugarcane, Magiliw Street, Kween Yasmin, and Noah Alejandre as well as homegrown talents was organized by the Higher Education Department (HED) and Basic Education Department (BED) Student Councils, in collaboration with the Alumni Association and the External Affairs Office. This concert brought together current students, alumni, and faculty for an evening of music, camaraderie, and celebration.

A Legacy of Growth and Innovation

FEU Cavite was founded with the vision of extending the legacy of Dr. Nicanor Reyes, Sr., the founder of FEU Manila, to the southern part of Luzon. Nestled within the serene and secure MetroGate Silang Estates, the campus boasts modern facilities designed to provide an optimal learning environment. Over the years, FEU Cavite has expanded its academic offerings from Basic Education, including the introduction of Senior High School programs in 2016 as well as various College degree programs.

Embracing Change and Resilience

The past few years have been a testament to FEU Cavite’s resilience and adaptability. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the institution swiftly transitioned to a flexible learning environment, ensuring that students continued to receive quality education through online platforms like Canvas and Microsoft Teams. This commitment to innovation has positioned FEU Cavite as a leader in educational technology and student wellness.
