FEU Cavite Excels at UPN Veteran Jawa Timur International Seminar and Student E Poster Competition

FEU Cavite demonstrated academic excellence and global engagement through its participation in the international hybrid seminar and student e‑poster competition organized by Universitas Pembangunan Nasional (UPN) “Veteran” Jawa Timur, Indonesia.

The event brought together students, educators, and researchers from various countries, serving as a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange, research dissemination, and innovation through both in-person and virtual participation.

Distinguished Keynote Speaker from FEU Cavite

A major highlight of the seminar was the participation of Ms. Riza Lumagui, MBA, MAN, Dean of the College of Nursing, as one of the distinguished keynote speakers.

Dean Riza delivered a compelling keynote lecture titled: “Philippine Hospital Infection Prevention and Control Best Practices”

Her presentation emphasized evidence-based infection prevention and control (IPC) strategies implemented in Philippine healthcare settings. The discussion highlighted best practices in reducing hospital-acquired infections, strengthening patient safety protocols, and ensuring preparedness among healthcare professionals. Her insights reinforced the importance of continuous education, strict adherence to standards, and innovation in healthcare delivery.

Her participation not only enriched the academic discourse of the seminar but also elevated FEU Cavite’s presence in the global academic and healthcare community.
