Setting the Direction

The planning formally opened with welcome remarks from Dr. Myrna P. Quinto, Executive Director, who underscored the importance of strategic alignment and continuous improvement as FEU Cavite moves forward in a rapidly evolving educational landscape.

A significant portion of the first day was dedicated to reviewing the University’s accomplishments. These discussions highlighted key achievements, operational insights, and areas for growth.

Reassessing Vision and Strategic Position

In the afternoon session, Dr. Matthew M. Nepomuceno presented the results of SOARR (Strengths, Opportunities, Aspirations, Results, and Risks) survey which is instrumental in the process of reviewing and revising the school’s Vision-Mission and aspirations.

This session allowed participants to reflect on the institution’s current positioning and align its long-term aspirations with internal capabilities and external demands. The day concluded with a synthesis session, providing guidance for collaborative outputs on the next day.

Collaborative Planning and Leadership Development

Day 2, which was conducted on May 7, focused on crafting the school’s Mission statement. Participants presented group work outputs, reflecting collective strategies and recommendations for institutional advancement. These outputs demonstrated cross-functional collaboration and a shared commitment to excellence. Ms. Judith R. Magsino, HR Officer facilitated the said session. She was assisted by Dr. Reyett Paunan, Executive Director of the FEU Basic Education.

In the afternoon, participants developed and presented Departmental Plans that will be implemented beginning SY 2026-2027.
