TAMniman sa Alfonso 2026 Strengthens FEU Cavite's Commitment to Environmental Sustainability
The FEU Cavite Alumni Association successfully held the “TAMniman sa Alfonso” Tree Planting Project on April 18, 2026, bringing together individuals with shared objectvites for a meaningful activity centered on environmental stewardship and collective responsibility. The event was participated in by FEU Cavite alumni, students, employees, and external volunteers who joined the Tamaraws in the South to support the initiative, reflecting a shared commitment to sustainability and service.
The tree‑planting activity is an initiative of the FEU Cavite Alumni Association in collaboration with the FEU Cavite External Affairs Office and the Municipality of Alfonso Tourism Office. The project served as both an environmental and civic undertaking, allowing participants to actively contribute to ecological preservation while strengthening connections within and beyond the FEU Cavite community. The presence of participants from various sectors highlighted the collaborative spirit that continues to characterize the programs and advocacies of the FEU Cavite Alumni Association.
The initiative underscored the importance of environmental responsibility, aligning with the university’s mission to cultivate socially responsible and environmentally conscious individuals. Through TAMniman sa Alfonso, participants engaged in a hands-on activity that promotes environmental protection and supports long-term sustainability efforts.
More than a tree‑planting activity, TAMniman sa Alfonso also served as a platform for community building and shared purpose. Alumni reconnected with fellow Tamaraws, students gained firsthand exposure to alumni‑led initiatives, employees contributed beyond their professional roles, and external volunteers who joined the FEU Cavite community in support of the initiative strengthened the collective impact of the event. This convergence highlighted the value of unity and service across diverse groups working toward a common goal.
The FEU Cavite Alumni Association extends its gratitude to all alumni, students, employees, and external volunteers who joined the FEU Cavite community in support of the initiative and helped make the activity a success. Programs such as TAMniman sa Alfonso continue to exemplify the association’s commitment to environmental advocacy, meaningful alumni engagement, and community service.
As the Alumni Association continues to spearhead initiatives that promote sustainability and social involvement, future activities are expected to further strengthen partnerships within and outside the FEU Cavite community—rooted in shared values, collective action, and lasting impact.
